I am going divorce myself from society for one silly little post, though if you are feeling saucy; write to your MP, join a March, pay forward in mutual aid, join a community activity and always make noise to SAVE THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE.
In February I started to compile my sketchbooks into a zine
You know how it goes by now, I draw outside. I have been a compulsive sketchbooker since my Masters (2017-2018), it got worse when I came back to Cymru, since then i have been aggressively documenting my life and wanders.
Only when i see videos like this am I brutally reminded of how short i am, in my own head I am tall. Anyway, Its a slog as
I hate computer based work….I have little patience for it
It is self initiated, due to having x2 jobs and big projects on I have had very minimal time.
It will get there. If you read monthly you may have been able to tell that I am the most burnt out and fed up with my practice I have ever been. This is why (and the is seconded by Efa, and Efa is an amazing artist thus knows what she’s on about) this zine is important. I think once i pull 2024 sketchbooks together, find the narrative and rationalise this something will click in my brain again. I have more time to work on it now so stay tuned.

Haf ‘24 is currently being scanned to death.
A Year of endings, but that means new beginnings right??.. please.. anyone?

I also worked on cool stuff that i can’t talk about till it’s released… Sorry
Lucy Dacus, Patrick Wolf and Self Esteem all bought out albums this year…
I am blessed. That is all.
What’s on the sewing pile?
Getting everybody else to sew too
I was very very lucky to do my degree, not many folk from my background really had that opportunity, so i now spend (as a self employed job, which is amazing) my time passing on the know-how.

Books that have rocked my little world

Typically me they are all over the place genre and interest wise.
I am currently reading Robert Macfarlane’s book about rivers and that is an emotional rollercoaster.
So that’s it. Lets hope by the winter solstice I will have been on my journey and found my inspiration again.
